Night Night Everyone.

After showers, hot chocolate and a bedtime story from Mrs Sylvester, the children were more than happy to go off to bed, tired after their adventures. There's still plenty more action planned before we set off for home!

Fun and Games on the High Ropes.

Apologies for not posting these pictures yesterday. In the depths of Arethusa, we fell off the world wide web!! But as promised, here is a selection of images of the children doing their best spiderman impersonations at the top of a very high pole.

4B Go Shelter Building.

4B have settled in extremely well. They all made their beds and tidied their rooms beautifully. (They may deny this when they get home, but it's true!!) Then we had a reasonably early night with everyone getting straight off to sleep, and a very early morning!

They've had a go at shelter-building and orienteering so far today, and here are some pictures of them in the woods, and some before and after shots of the shelters they built. There are definitely some budding architects and builders here. They also had great fun in the woods avoiding the infamous hippacrocadillopigs, a very nasty local monster!!!

Then it was off to the field for some orienteering, and provided they map read their way back from that one successfully, they'll be splitting into groups this afternoon and will be kayaking, rock climbing or on the high ropes. More piccies wil follow later today.

......and the First Instalment from 4B

Here they are, 4B on their first day, and as you can see they are already making sure that they get their clothes as dirty as possible! They have made a great start and have already spent time in the pool and the woods. Tomorrow, we are orienteering, building shelters and climbing. Keep logging on to see what we get up to.

Some Last Photos of 4S and 4K.

Here are the last photos for now of 4S and 4K at Arethusa, although we took hundreds of photos altogether and will try to publish more of the best of them once we return from the trip. As well as the children, you can see two of the brilliant instructors, Jess and Sammi, who really did help the children to put 100% into everything they did. No doubt, you've heard all about it, and we suspect there were a few early nights tonight!!

Farewell to 4S and 4K! Welcome to Arethusa 4B!

Just after 4B arrived, so 4K and 4S departed. Mrs Sylvester and Mrs Frost waved them off, and they are well on their way back to school now. Here are some photos of the arrivals and departures. By the way, don't worry if you can't see someone you're looking for; 4K and 4S all got on the coaches, and 4B are definitely all here!!! Photographic evidence will follow!
