Hello everyone from Yr 4 Arethusa 2012

Hello from 4M and 4F at Arethusa,

We have had a good start to our time here, although we didn't see the sun again after we left the M25! It's not very cold, just overcast, but it hasn't stopped the children having a good time. After going to our dorms, unpacking our bags and making our beds, with varying degrees of success, each class went off for an activity session, either swimming or a woodland walk.

Lunch then followed which was mainly, but not exclusively, fish fingers and chips (lots and lots of chips) and of course, copious amounts of tomato sauce, followed by jam sponge and custard - lovely!

The afternoon the groups swapped over activities, and as I was with 4M, I can vouch for the fact that the children really enjoyed the woodland walk, getting very muddy in the process.

Then there was dinner, which was a jacket pototo, cheese, tuna, coleslaw or a combination thereof.

It's now 8.30 pm and I'm going to try and load up some pictures next - wish me luck

Mr Youlton
